Now that school is finished for the summer, Steven has a chance to peruse things besides grading papers and projects, and teaching class. Among his latest adventures was shearing Peanut Butter, the family's new sheep. Anna Maria now has a wheelbarrow full of wool for carding, spinning into yarn and then weaving. She has promised her husband a vest.
Steven has also built a fence and gate, taken his family on a canoe trip on the Shenandoah, and even done some photography. I am guessing that Anna Maria took this photo, since Steven is in it. He has taken several self portraits though, so I'm not sure...I nabbed this photo from Anna Maria's web site.
