Ballroom Dance and Blown Glass - April 28

At the glass factory--where we saw glass blown and shaped after being fired in a kiln, and saw glass blown after being heated with table top torches. (Photo by Steven David Johnson)

Anna Maria, Steven and the girls and I had brunch together the weekend after moving in. From there we walked to Woodrow Wilson's birthplace museum and were transported to a bygone era. "Queen Elizabeth" (third from left) had come to visit. And a couple waltzed to live music from violins. This was a bit of "serendipity," as Steven said. We had planned to spend the day watching glass being blown at the glass factory and shop -- which we did. This was an unanticipated addition, which we learned about as we started our walk to the glass factory. (Photos by Steven David Johnson)
